The Olds brand dates to 1888, when Levitt Lincoln Olds founded L.L. Olds Seed Co. at Clinton, Wisconsin. Since then, the company became known for selling only the finest quality seed of the best varieties, whether alfalfa, corn, and seed potatoes for family farms in Wisconsin or selling garden seed nationwide with a mail order catalog for 97 years. Today, as a part of Land O'Lakes, Inc., Olds Garden Seed continues that tradition.
